SO Personal Poster

For the Design Prod Plan 2: Digital course, I created a personal poster using my identified Strengths and Opportunities. I started by selecting five words for each category and found multiple image references that guided my creative direction.
In Adobe Photoshop, I used a mix of Unsplash images and my own photos to create a layered composition. An image of an open book became the textured background of the design. I blended the page with blue to create a paper texture in the background instead of using a flat or solid color background.
The page texture does have a dual purpose to it. While it visually adds to the composition of the design, it also subtly represents one of my strengths- intelligence- without making it visually obvious. This also sneaks in my personal love for books and my ability to express both my character and interests in a more delicate way.
