Duotone Revised

In the Image Editing course, I explored the visual impacts of duotone imagery using only a blue and pink color palette. The goal was to simplify the composition while creating a strong contrast through two colors. Combining them creates a balance between vibrant and cool color tones, resulting in an eye-catching aesthetic.
Using Adobe Photoshop, I imported my own photography and applied gradient maps to transform the original into a cohesive duotone image. During the process, I could control the highlights and shadows while maintaining clarity and visual hierarchy.
By limiting the palette, the design becomes more expressive and unified, demonstrating how color alone can shape the mood and meaning of a design. Blue was used to convey calmness and depth, while pink was used to show energy and warmth
